GROUPING AND UNGROUPING METHOD OF MICRO-CELL USING DUMMY PILOT CHANNEL IN CELLULAR MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A grouping and ungrouping method of micro-cell using dummy pilot channel in cellular mobile telecommunication system is provided to group plural micro-cells into single omni-cell and ungroup the single omni-cell into plural micro-cells. CONSTITUTION: A grouping and ungrouping method of micro-cell using dummy pilot channeling cellular mobile telecommunication system comprises steps of: connecting a dummy pilot channel to any channel card; generating a reference pilot signal as a reference of grouping and the transferring the reference pilot signal to a transmitter/receiver of a first micro-cell and a relay station; sensing the transferred reference pilot signal; assigning a traffic channel corresponding to the reference pilot signal to a mobile phone; communicating with a base station; decreasing the strength of a first pilot signal transferred through the transmitter/receiver and the relay station; sensing the decrease of the first pilot signal; sustaining only a channel corresponding to the reference pilot signal; and communicating with the base station.
