STERILIZING METHOD AND DEVICE OF TOILET BOWL WASH WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent excessive supply of a sterilizing metallic ion supply means by actuating the sterilizing metallic ion supply means in succession to a process of starting to close a feed valve of a water supply pipe for suplying wash water after starting to supply the wash water to a toilet bowl. SOLUTION: A sterilizing method and a device are provided with a sterilizing metallic ion supply means 4 for supplying sterilizing metallic ions and a control means 5 for controlling the sterilizing metallic ion supply means 4. The sterilizing metallic ion supply means 4 is formed as an electrolytic cell having an electrode of sliver or copper. The sterilizing metallic ion supply means 4 is actuated in succession to a process of starting to close a feed valve 2 composed of a flush valve of a water supply pipe 1 for supplying wash water after starting to supply the wash water to a toilet bowl 6 to thus supply sterilizing metallic ions to water supplied during valve closing operation time without depending on opening/closing time set by a controller of the feed valve 2 to thereby reduce sterilizing metallic ions of not effectively acting for sterilizing the toilet bowl without stagnating in the toilet bowl to prevent excessive supply.
