A single piece drive hub connects the drive shaft of a motor to a transverse fan assembly. The structure of the single piece drive hub allows for the drive hub to be easily inserted and locked into place within the one end of the transverse fan assembly. The drive hub is preferably fabricated from a thermoplastic elastomer material that allows a diaphragm portion of the single piece drive hub to flexibly distort if necessary. <IMAGE> <IMAGE>
