PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact and improve maintainability of a device which is configured such that two HST are connected, one of which is for running and the other for steering, so that a pair of left and right axles can be driven and running is made possible at the same time. SOLUTION: A steer drive unit of a running vehicle has a running drive HST 21 and a steering HST 22 each comprising a hydraulic pump, a hydraulic motor, and an oil passage fluidly coupling the two, and a differential gear 5 which is interlockingly coupled to respective output shafts of hydraulic motors 53, 72. In this steer drive unit, a pair of left and right axles 40L, 40R interlockingly coupled to the differential gear 5 are driven for steering. Oil passages for connecting the hydraulic pumps and the hydraulic motors (52, 53, 71, 72) of the HST 21, 22 and are provided inside two separate center sections 51, 75.
