PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for pulling up a specimen immersed in flux and a using method thereof, which can prevent misjudging of good/bad conditions of active degree of the flux caused by different velocity for pulling up the specimen immersed in the flux person by person. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with; an elevatable specimen holding part 14 which nips and holds an upper end of a bar-like specimen 8 and then dips the bottom end of the specimen 8 in a flux pool 12 when it is lowered; an arm part 18 which is rotatably supported at a length intermediate part 20, is rotatably linked with the specimen holding part 14 at one end, and is provided with a cam coupled-driving element 22 at the other end; and a cam 28 which rotates the arm part 18 via the cam coupled-driving element 22 by bringing a cam face into contact with the cam coupled-driving element 22 and rotating around an axis. By rotating the arm part 18, the specimen holding part 14 can lift the specimen up and down.
