PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and its method for gradational representation which is applicable to a specific colored pattern, etc. SOLUTION: This image processing method extracts a foreground and a background color from inputted brush information 301 to obtain brush patterns corresponding to the extracted foreground and background colors from prepared gradational representation brush data (328), randomizes the brush patterns respective (329), and generates color-processed brush patterns from the input brush information and randomized brush patterns (330).
