PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed product reader capable of assuring security by concealing a printed part (a part on which information such as a character, a pattern or the like is printed) of a normal printed product to be invisibly visualized and optically reading without contact in response to necessity of information by the invisibly visualized printed part. SOLUTION: A printed part using a phosphor for infrared radiating is superposed and formed on a printed part on which a character, a pattern or the like is printed to conceal the part of the character or the like, and the concealed printed part is read from a luminescent output or an afterglow of the printed part using the phosphor.
