PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack capable of securing an enough area even if the fitting space is narrow. SOLUTION: A drainer rack fitted to a cabinet is formed by a fixed upper rack part 1a and a lower elevating rack part 1b. The upper rack part 1a is so constructed that plural draining bars 6 are fixed at designated spaces to the lower surface of the bottom of a rectangular parallelopiped frame 2 and the right and left side parts are provided with guides 3. The lower rack part 1b is so constructed that plural draining bars 7 are fixed at designated spaces on the upper surface of a frame 8, and sliders 5 with a stopper 4 are erected on the right and left side parts. The sliders 5 are inserted in the guides 3, and the sliders 5 are stopped to the guides 3 by the stoppers 4, thereby holding the lower rack part 1b in a desired lowered position. When the lower rack part 1b is set in the uppermost position, a space area below the drainer rack 1 can be used widely to prevent interference with a water faucet, or the like. When the lower rack part 1b is set in the lowered position, the rack area can be enlarged substantially twice, so it will be sufficient that the drainer rack has a narrow frontage.
