An insulating roof board (330) comprises a roofing panel having a top surface with a plurality of projections (334) adjacent its bottom edge (312). The projections (334) define a plurality of channels (336) having a smaller cross-sectional area at their top end than at their bottom end. Accordingly, the channels improve the airflow therethrough to increase roof ventilation. In a preferred aspect, the channels include nonparallel edges to provide a tortuous path for the air flow. |
