PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate light leakage and a jamming phenomenon due to a defective sticking of the core of a roll-like photo-sensitive material package and a side face light-shielding member, to prevent the occurrence of paper powder when light-shielding is released by breaking the joint part of the side face light-shielding member and a light-shielding leader by pulling out the light-shielding leader while unwinding it and when a photosensitive material is normally extended thereafter and to prevent a fogging of the photosensitive member due to external light from a pinhole caused at the fold of the side face light-shielding member folded so as to obtain the fold and partially stuck onto the outer peripheral surface of the light-shielding leader. SOLUTION: This roll-like photosensitive material package possesses a roll-like photosensitive material scroll which is joined to the top end of the roll-like photosensitive material wound on the core and to which the light-shielding leader to execute the light-shielding of the outer peripheral surface of the photosensitive material is also wound and the side face light-shielding member to execute the light-shielding of both side faces of the roll-like photosensitive material scroll and nearly cocentrically stuck and fixed to the roll core, and both end faces of the core composed of a paper tube are perpendicularly polished against an axial center and are smoothly finished.
