PURPOSE:To provide a starting method by which the probability of starting failure can be greatly reduced. CONSTITUTION:A magnetization counter is set at the step of s1 and a single step process is executed at the step of s2. A stator coil is magnetized in accordance with a predetermined pattern in the single step process. At the following step of s3, a first acceleration process for controlling a magnetizing pattern in accordance with the rotational position of a rotor is executed, and at the following step of s4, one skip is made backwards and + 4 is set in the magnetization counter with respect to the last inner stepping step in the acceleration process, and after that, a second stepping process is executed at the step of s5. When such a step of s4 is executed, the operation of inverse magnetization drive for inverting the direction of continuity of electricity without including a period of stoppage is executed sequentially from the initiation in a plurality phases. Next, a second acceleration process starts at the step of s6, and after that, constant-speed control is executed at the step of s7. When any abnormal state is not brought about after the step is shifted to the constant-speed control, the state is maintained, and when any abnormal state is brought about in the step of constant-speed control and detected in the step of s8, the step is returned to the step of s1 and the processing at the starting period of time is repeated. |
