PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring a solid polymer fuel cell by means of X-ray laminography.SOLUTION: The solid polymer fuel cell comprises: a membrane/electrode assembly 12; a first passage plate 17 that is provided at a first side of the membrane/electrode assembly 12; a second passage plate 18 that is provided at a second side of the membrane/electrode assembly 12; a first separator 19 which is provided at a first side of the first passage plate 17 and includes a first transmission window 19a; and a second separator 20 which is provided at a second side of the second passage plate 18 and includes a second transmission window 20a. The first and second transmission windows 19a and 20a are configured to emit X rays that are made incident via one of the transmission windows and have a predetermined or larger angle with respect to a principal surface of the membrane/electrode assembly 12, via the other of the first and second transmission windows through the membrane/electrode assembly 12 and the first and second passage plates 17 and 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
