PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device and a driving method for the conveyance device which can completely divide a clean region and a drive region by separating a conveyance section and a drive section of the conveyance device.SOLUTION: A conveyance device 100 includes: a conveyance section 10 which is rotated to convey a container 9; and a drive section 20 for giving rotational driving force to the conveyance section 10. The conveyance section 10 includes a conveyance shaft 13 to be rotated and a magnet section M1 included in the conveyance shaft 13. The drive section 20 includes a motor 21 for generating the rotational driving force, a drive body 22 rotated by the rotational driving force, and a magnet section M2 included in the drive body 22. The conveyance shaft 13 and the drive body 22 are disposed in a separated state, and are connected so that the rotational driving force can be transmitted by magnetic force acting between the magnet section M1 and the magnet section M2. A cover 30 made of a nonmagnetic material is interposed between the conveyance shaft 13 and the drive body 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
