PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-optical-axis photoelectric switch improvable in electrostatic noise resistance. SOLUTION: In fitting a cap cover part 16 to the open end of a cap body 15, a conductive rubber 27 is inserted in a punched hole 18 formed in the cap body 15, and then the cap cover part 16 is pressed in to close in a state of holding a circuit board 26 in between and ultrasonically welded, for instance. The position of a land L and the length of the conductive rubber 27 are adjusted to accommodate the conductive rubber 27 in the mold drawn hole 18 in a compressed state of being held between the outer side face of a nut member 13 and the land L formed at the circuit board 26. Consequently, the nut member 13 is electrically connected to a shielding layer of a shielded cable 14 through the conductive rubber 27, the land L of the circuit board 26 and a shielding wire 25. A resin cap K1 is fitted to a casing 11, and a metallic fixing screw 29 is screwed with the nut member 13. As a result, the casing 11 is electrically connected to the nut member 13 through the fixing screw 29, thereby electrically connected to the shielding layer of the shielded cable 14.
