POLYESTER MONOFILAMENT, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester monofilament equipped with each characteristic of a high Young's modulus and low heat shrinkage in a good balance, a method for producing the same and its use represented by an industrial material. SOLUTION: This polyester monofilament consists of a polyethylene naphthalate, and has >=8,000 N/mm<2> Young's modulus and <=10% dry heat shrinkage at 180 deg.C.
