PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a probe pin having excellent withstand load property at the time of caulking when caulking a terminal 6 on the probe pin. SOLUTION: This probe pin is constituted of a cylindrical shell 2 opening one end and forming a supporting part 22 projecting in a collar shape at the other end and a pin main body 3 which has a base end part 32 inserted into the shell 2, is slidably provided within the shell 2 by projecting a contact part 31 to be a tip from an opening part 25 and is always energized to the contact part 31 side by a coil spring 4 within the shell 2, and is constituted by projectingly providing a caulking projection 24 on the surface of the supporting part 22. When caulking and fixing the terminal 6 by the caulking projection 24, the supporting part 22 receives load at the time of the caulking.
