PURPOSE: A system and a method for remotely controlling a computer using a mobile communication terminal are provided to execute a remote control command by setting a communication link between the mobile communication terminal and the computer through a base station, displaying a monitor image of the computer in the mobile communication terminal, and selecting the remote control command such as a file transmission and a program execution through the displayed monitor image. CONSTITUTION: A computer(100) has a remote control module(102) for scanning a monitor picture of the computer(100), transmitting the scanned monitor picture to a mobile communication terminal(200), and executing a remote control using a pixel value of an LCD(204) of the mobile communication terminal(200). The mobile communication terminal(200) has an image analyzing module(202) for displaying a part of a monitor image received in the LCD(204) on the basis of a set pointer and transmitting a pixel value selected by the pointer as a control command to the computer(100).
