<p>An indicator light assembly for a vacuum cleaner includes a light pipe indicator unit (114) and a circuit board (4802). An elliptical recess (2952) in a top cover (244) of a vacuum head housing of the vacuum cleaner receives the light pipe indicator unit (114). LEDs (4900) on the circuit board (4802) are operable to selectively illuminate upon the occurrence of a predetermined condition, and at least one light pipe (4800) is disposed above and slightly displaced from said LEDs (4900) wherein, upon illumination of one of said LEDs (4900), light from said LED is transmitted to said upper surface for observation by a user.</p> |
