The invention relates to a closing device for pliable furniture, used for fixing the legs in a vertical position. According to the invention, the closing device for pliable furniture comprises a plate support (1) having some wings (b) for fastening on the furniture, and a body (a) presenting a cutting (m) having a limiting inclined side (o), and a latch (2) made of plate, integral with a bolt (3) rotating inside the body (a) of the support (1), whereon a torsion spring (4) is wound up, said torsion spring having some windings (d and e) on both sides of the latch (2), the said windings (d and e) having some ends (f) fastened into some cams (g) punched inside the the walls of the body (a) and some ends joined together into a loop (h) pressing on the latch (2) on a side (i), maintaining it into a position limited by a bearing (j) of the body (a), the latch (2) being provided with a handle (k) for opening and a semi-circular case (1) and a threshold (n) for blocking a fastening bolt (5).
