METHOD OF CONTROLLING MONITOR SCREEN

PURPOSE: A method of controlling a monitor screen is provided to set offset and gain values of each A/D converter of a monitor according to hardware characteristic to improve resolution of the monitor. CONSTITUTION: Initial offset values of the first and second analog/digital converters of a monitor are respectively set to one of the first and second offset values(S100). BIOS of the first and second analog/digital converters is controlled according to input black pattern data(S110). Initial gain values of the first and second analog/digital converters are respectively set to one of the first and second gain values(S200). White balance of the first or second analog/digital converter is adjusted according to input white pattern data(S210). The first offset value corresponds to half the maximum offset value of the first and second analog/digital converters, and the second offset value is identical to the minimum value. The first gain value corresponds to half the maximum gain value of the first and second analog/digital converters and the second gain value is identical to the maximum value.
