PURPOSE: Provided is a natural indigo colored soap which is not harmful to human bodies, and has beautiful indigo color as well as basic detergent property. The method for producing the soap is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing a natural indigo colored soap is characterized in that an indigo plant pigment is added either in a raw material blending step or in a heating and stirring step in a conventional soap producing process. In particular, the indigo plant pigment is added in the amount of 0.001 to 2.0 wt% based on the total weight of the soap.
