PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for communication, a central device, and a computer program which can communicate main information and sub information by using a communication network and a recording medium where the program is recorded. SOLUTION: The central device 3 can convert 2nd sub information according to 1st sub information and store it, store positional information regarding the location where the 2nd sub information is stored, transmit the positional information to 2nd terminal devices 6, 6,..., send the 2nd sub information based upon the positional information to the 2nd terminal devices 6, 6,..., when receiving transmission requests from the 2nd terminal devices 6, 6,..., send the main information to the 2nd terminal devices 6, 6,..., when receiving restoration achievement information for the 1st sub information from the 2nd terminal devices 6, 6,..., and send notice of achievement of restoration to the 1st sub information to 1st terminal devices 1, 1,....
