CHLORINE ELECTRODE IN ZINC-HALOGEN CELL

摘要

PURPOSE:To joint a current collector and a chlorine electrode strongly with low resistance, by securing a current collector made of a graphite board and the jointing face of a chlorine electrode made of a hollow box-shaped porous graphite. CONSTITUTION:One or a plurality of holes 4 are made along the face for jointing a chlorine electrode 3 made of a box-shaped porous graphite while having a hollow section for supplying the electrolyte in a current collector 1 made of a graphite board, while a hole 5 having one or a plurality of female screws is made along the side jointing to the current collector 1 of the chlorine electrode 3. A screw 6 to be screwed in said hole 5 is screwed from the rear of the current collector 1 through a hole 4 into the hole 5 to fasten the current collector 1 and the chlorine electrode 3 thus to connect the chlorine electrode 3 electric ally through the conductive side to the current collector 1.
