PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a control system for rolling stock mounting an operating unit having a normal brake mechanism section using motor output and a safety brake mechanism section using spring output in which reliability of brake at the safety brake mechanism section is enhanced and a pressure is stored in the spring at the safety brake mechanism section at an appropriate time. SOLUTION: Powering is inhibited by delivering a powering inhibition signal until all springs at the safety brake mechanism section in all operating units to be controlled finishes storage of pressure. Storage of pressure in the spring is permitted on the condition that a rolling stock is stopped or power is received from the overhead wires. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
