PURPOSE: A heat energy generated while burning fuel in an engine is used to supply power to an automobile, thereby improving energy efficiency using an engine exhaust heat. CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric device(10) is provided to generate heat electric power. A first contact point of the piezoelectric device is fixed to a cooling system. A second contact point is fixed to an exhaust manifold(30). A battery member is provided to store electric energy connected to the piezoelectric device. The high temperature exhaust heat is generated from the exhaust manifold, thereby temperature difference is large between the first and second contact point.
