FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to track maintenance and repair machinery used for compacting ballast under ties when laying and repairing tracks. Proposed tamping tool contains plate with cavity secured on lower end of rod. Said cavity is made in form of longitudinal vertical slot for fastening plates of lower row with lower ends rounded to radius. Lower part of plate with slot is made in form of wedge on surfaces of which working plates are mounted, being secured also on plates of lower row projecting from said slot. Plates of lower row are made in form of trapezium of rectangle in cross section. Angles of inclination of side surfaces of plate wedge part alpha1, alpha2 are 5o - 35o, at difference in angles not exceeding 10o. Height of wedge part of plate C=0.1-0.5D where D is width of tool. Additional working plates are secured on front and rear parallel surface of plate. EFFECT: increased strength of replaceable tools of tie tampers. 2 cl, 2 dwg |
