PURPOSE: A coated stainless steel cable tie is provided to prevent any problems induced due to the insertion of a coated strap into a locking head. CONSTITUTION: The coated stainless steel cable tie(10) comprises a strap(16) having a non-coated tip(14) and a remaining coating portion; and a locking head(12) affixed to an end of the strap and having a locking member to receive the non-coated tip therein. The strap is made of metal. The locking member includes a locking ball. The coating portion of the strap is coated by means of a nylon coating unit.
