PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio transmission system capable of preventing communication quality from deteriorating even though the backoff of an amplifier of a transmitter is made small. SOLUTION: When a voltage amplitude value of a transmission signal amplified by an amplifier 17 for transmission is larger than a regulated voltage amplitude value, a transmitting waveform forming circuit 15 for making the voltage amplitude value of the transmission signal small is mounted on the transmitter 1, and a receiving waveform forming circuit 23 for making the voltage amplitude value of the transmission signal large is mounted on a receiver 2.
