METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF BOX TYPE BRICKS FOR GLASS MELTING FURNACE WITHOUT OCCURENCE OF CRACK

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing of box type bricks for glass melting furnace without occurrence of crack even if three or more moldings are laminated and calcinated in calcinting furnace. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of blending and kneading fire resistant raw materials and binder; molding the resultant in the form of box having convex and concave; laminating and calcinating the moldings in the form of multiple layer in calcinating furnace to form box type bricks having convex and concave. The concave of the brick on the top faces the concave of the second brick to form closed space between the concave of the brick on the top and the concave of the second brick; the convex of the second brick faces the convex of the third brick to form open space between the convex of the second brick and the convex of the third brick; and into the concave of the third brick is inserted the convex of the fourth brick.
