PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for separating a metal-plastic composite waste, which can separate effectively plastics andinorganic materials from each other. SOLUTION: The device comprises: a separation tank containing a heatingmedium, which separates the metal-plastic composite waste under immersing in the heating medium, a waste supplying device for supplying the waste to the separation tank, a heating medium supplying device for supplying a heating medium to the separation tank, a rotating gate device for introducing and immersing the waste in the heating medium, the first recovery device for recovering separating materials mainly comprising plastics floated on the upper surface of the heating medium in the separation tank, the second recovery device for recovering separating materials mainly comprising metals precipitated on the bottom of the heating medium of the separation tank, and a heating medium recovery device for recovering the heating medium from the separation tank.
