1397421 Anhydrite particle sizes; mortar KNAUF WESTDEUTSCHE GIPSWERKE Gebr 23 Jan 1973 [3 Jan 1972] 195/72 Headings C1A and C1H A particulate anhydrite has a particle size distribution such that 2-6% by weight of particles are >5 mm., 13-23% by weight are <5mm. and >3À15 mm., 33-40% by weight are <3À15 mm. and >1 mm., 17-23% by weight are <1 mm. and >0À2 mm. and 17- 33% by weight are <0À2 mm. The particles of size <0À2 mm. may be tribomechanically activatingly ground. The anhydrite may be incorporated in a mortar, the weight ratio H 2 O : CaSO 4 being 0À09 : 1 to 0À12 : 1 and the mortar may also comprise an accelerator (FeSO 4 and/or K 3 SO 4 preferred). The tribomechanical grinding may be carried out in a disintegrator. |
