The fixed, frame of the door or window consists of two upright sides and two horizontal sides, all of which are joined by edge joints at the corners. The pins situated on the room side surface of the frame are on the horizontal side-pieces, and extend to the vertical outer edges of the upright sides. The upright joined at the two ends to the two horizontal side-pieces by means of the corner-pins, has, at each end, a sector-shaped opening on the roomside surface. The holes open out on one side into the folding surface of the upright, and, on the other side are bounded by the pin edges of the horizontal side-pieces which continue in the direction of the fold-surfaces. A tubular base-plate, made of metal or plastic, may penetrate the bottom horizontal side-pieces to the outside edges of the uprights. Alternatively, the uprights and cross-pieces may be joined by a mitred join with a wedge piece.
|
