<p>The combined lifting and unlocking mechanism is for "lift and roll" type sliding metal framed windows and is operated via a hand lever mounted on a lower frame corner, and effects simultaneous raising of the frame into the rolling station and disengagement of a hook bolt (8) from the fixed frame post (33). The hand lever engages the square hole of a stub axle (9) which is built into the frame corner and is monolithic with a short lever arm (5) attaching via its free end to lifting linkage (6) and being arranged to strike a bolt integral pinned eccentric (10).</p> |
