<p>The chime has at least two sounding plates, bars, etc. freely suspended on holders in a case. The plates are parallel to each other and at about the same distance from the base plate. There are two striking systems between the plates. The two strikers can move transversally to the plates and independently of each other. At least one further plate is provided, and all three are parallel to each other, within the space limited by the two outer plates. They are at least approx. at the same distance from the base plate and the movement path of one of the two strikers crosses the plane defined by the middle plate.</p> |
