PURPOSE:To detect abnormal condition with the moniter of actual opening in the certain period for the operation unit of the gate for the automatic control of the dam gate by securing greater safety. CONSTITUTION:By feeding open/close signal from the gate opening command unit 7, the opening which is actuated by the driving motor 2 of the dam gate 1 is compared with the actual opening detected with the instrument 3, for the gate operation abnormal detectors 4 and 5 to enter into OR circuit. When one of either abnormal condition detector is feeding a signal, the gate opening signal is allowed to cut for signaling the alarm to the operator. The abnormal detector 4 is detecting the rate of opening change at random time according to the actuation rate and operation time from the start of gate operation, including the gate inherent constant, and deciding whether the gate operation is abnormal or not. |
