PURPOSE:To obtain a unit which is effective as a oil pollution monitor by eliminating the muddiness dependent upon floating suspension materials in case that exhaust water such as ship bilge is emulsified chemically and obtaining an indication value approximating a true oil components density. CONSTITUTION:Output eT1 of muddiness detector 4 is compared with output eK1 of constant-voltage unit unit E1, which is applied to the - terminal of comparator AC, by turning on switch SC; and in case of eT1<eK1, output end 6 becomes negative, and the oil components density is indicated on indicator M while leaving contact CR of relay 7 in break contact 9 as it is. When sample W exceeds a range of natural emulsion, eT1>eK1 becomes true, and output end 6 becomes positive, and contact CR of relay 7 is turned on to make contact 8. Meanwhile, eT1 is divided with voltage ratio r/RP by potentiometer RP, and switch S1 is made to charge C1 with this divided voltage, and this voltage becomes the output of operational amplifier A1. Though this voltage becomes the output of A2 by turning on switch S2 by eT2 proportional to the muddiness after forced emulsion, eT2 is equal to eT1 approximately because oil components have been already emulsified. As a result, a value approximating a true oil components density is indicated on M. |
