PURPOSE:To enable the non-response time monitor in the time proportional to the transmission speed, by monitoring the time-out of the time monitor counter by the firmware. CONSTITUTION:The content of the transmission speed designation register 11 is read in the firmware, and the content is given to the transmission clock generation counter 13. Thus, the repetitive wave TXC of transmission clock is transmitted while counting it with the clock phi. Further, the content of the register is multiplied by a factor of multiple at the firmware and initial set is made by giving the result to the time monitor cunter 16. After the transmission of data with the firmware, if the time monitor start signal 15 is further incoming, the counter 16 performs the count. After that, the firmware detects the time-out of the time monitor counter 16, enabling the non-response monitor. |
