<p>The ventilator (5) has a turbine (10), driven by an electric motor (11) positioned within a volute (12) formed in two readily separable halves. One of these is dished for receiving the turbine (10) and incorporates a ventilation outlet, while the other half (126) forms a flat cover plate for it, supporting the motor (11) and the turbine (10) and having a central intake opening (13). Pref. the ventilator is mounted in position via the dished half (12a) of the volute (12). The two halves (12a, 12b) may be held together via an elastic band passing around mating semi circular elements (18a, 18b) around their corresponding edges.</p> |
