PURPOSE:To utilize the working space effectively, and to improve the workability, by installing the die magazine for the free-forging press under the floor, and by holding the anvil other than the anvil to be exchanged under the floor. CONSTITUTION:A main body 4 of a die magazine possessing plural frames 6 is movably installed on the base 7 under the floor 3 provided with the tool moving device for moving the tool such as the anvil, etc. The anvil holder 5 is laid on the above stated die magazine's frame 6, and the elevating cylinder unit 13 for vertically moving the anvil holder 5 is installed on the base 7. When the anvil 16a is to be used instead of the anvil 16c at the pressing position 1, the anvil 16a, being connected by the connecting device 17, is transferred onto the floor 3 by driving the anvil moving device, and is moved to the pressing position 1. When the anvil 16d, being held under the floor 3, is to be used, the anvil 16a together with the holder 5 are brought down by actuating the elevating cylinder 13 and are placed in the frame 6. Next, the die magazine 4 is moved by the cylinder 10, and the anvil 16d for exchange is lifted by the cylinder 13 till getting out of the frame 6, and is moved to the pressing position 1. |
