PURPOSE:To enhance contrast of a formed image, by using a photoconductor changing light transmittance on light irradiation in the image forming material by the photomigration method. CONSTITUTION:In forming a positive image a photoconductor, on light irradiation, shifting its light transmittance curve from a long wavelength region to a short wavelength region, such as an As-Se alloy having As component >=20mol% is used. A 0.1-50mu thick layer of a thermoplastic resin, such as polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride of 80-140 deg. softening point is formed on a conductive substrate, and on this layer a 0.1-10mu thick layer of said photoconductor is formed to provide an image forming material. Said photoconductor may be uniformly dispersed into said thermoplastic resin. |
