PURPOSE:To make it possible not only to obtain a tape at low cost by means of press-production from the master tape but also to record and reproduce for many hours, by constituting the system so as to record an electric signal on the endless tape in the concavo-convex form, and reproduce it. CONSTITUTION:This endless tape 2 is drawn out into the inside of the ring type body 1 from the innermost circumference of the tape winding part through the communicating hole 3 of the ring type body 1, is led to the capstan 7 and the pinch roller 8 through the recording head 6, and subsequently it is wound to the outermost circumference of the tape winding part. In this case, a signal is recorded in the concavo-convex form as a number of continuous recording tracks 21, for instance, by moving the recording head 6 in the direction of tape width intermittently at every one round running of the tape 2. The master tape is made by electrotyping of metal based upon the foregoing, from which a concavo-convex endless tape made of vinyl chloride 31, etc. is produced by means of hot press, etc., and it is reproduced in electrostatic capacity mode. Thus, it is possible to record and reproduce for many hours at low cost. |
