The mixing-valve device has a rotary handle (30) by means of which, via a driver pin (33), a threaded ring (34) screwed onto a valve-seat body (150) of the hot-water inlet (13), is rotated, in the process displacing the valve-seat body (150) axially for the adjustment of the quantity of mixed water. By means of projections (340) projecting into longitudinal grooves (242), the threaded ring (34) simultaneously turns a follow-up threaded ring (24') which serves to support a compensating spring (25) for the setting of the temperature and is displaced axially relative to a sleeve (220) supported on a control rod (22) with a movable valve element. When the valve seat body (150) is displaced to change the quantity of mixed water, the control rod (22) with the valve element is also adjusted. Due to the opposed axial displacement of the follow-up threaded ring (24'), the support for the compensating spring (25) and hence also the temperature of the mixed water, which corresponds to the spring stress, remains unchanged despite the change in the quantity of mixed water; e.g. the temperature of about 38 DEG C required in a shower. <IMAGE>
