PURPOSE:To prevent input mistake, through the ease of confirmation for the inputted items to be desired, by making shift keys and input keys used for a code inputting device for Kanji (Chinese character) and the like light-transmittable and installing polychromatic light emitting diode lamps to the inside of the keys. CONSTITUTION:Desired characters are selected out of a section 10, by selecting a required keymat 3, by taking index pieces 31-3n provided at side edges of the keymat 3 of a code inputting device 1 as a guide, and judgment is made where the characters correspond to either of two input items 7, 8 of the section 10. According to the judgement, a shift key 9 is operated and desired characters are inputted by depressing an input key 2 further related. The shift keys 9 and the input keys 2 are made transmittable, and when the input item 8 is inputted, the section 10 is lighted in green when the shift key 9 is operated by means of polychromatic light emitting diode lamps provided on the inside of the keys, allowing to make easy the input of the desired items 8. |
