PURPOSE:To bring a repairing cooling tube closely into contact with the inside face of a broken cooling tube and to facilitate the repairing work, by inserting the repairing cooling tube into the broken cooling tube supported on a tube plate and inserting forcibly a tube expanding tool through the repairing cooling tube. CONSTITUTION:A repairing cooling tube 6 is inserted into a broken cooling tube 5 supported on a tube plate 4. A tube expanding tool 7 is forcibly inserted into the repairing cooling tube 6 to increase the diameter of the repairing cooling tube 6, and the repairing cooling tube is brought closely into contact with the inside circumferential face of the broken cooling tube 5 to repair the cooling tube 5. Consequently, it is unnecessary to use an expensive bell mouth-shaped cooling tube and to remove the broken cooling tube. |
