NEW MATERIAL:Pseudomonas SP YM3229G (FERM-P No.6167) belonging to Pseudomonas genus. USE:Carcinostatic agent. PROCESS:Microorganism belonging to Pseudomonas genus separated from the soil collected in the Maruyama Park, Sapporo City, Japan, and capable of producing a carcinostatic substance YM-3229G, is inoculated in a medium containing carbon source and organic or inorganic nitrogen source, etc., and cultured at 18- 35 deg.C and 5.5-8.5pH for 2-10 days. After removing the microbial cells by centrifugal separation, filtration, etc., the objective Pseudomonas SP YM3229G is separated from the liquid and purified. |
