Crane jib (1) with a hollow supporting element (5) as well as two arms (6, 7) which are telescopically arranged in this supporting element (5) and can be displaced inside and relative to the latter by means of a double-acting hydraulic cylinder (8) which is attached to the supporting element (5) and is connected to a first arm (6) of the arms. Fastened to a first stop point (12) on the second arm (7) is a chain (11) which on the one side has a part (11'), which runs from the first stop point (12) to a deflection element (14) on the first arm, and on the other side has a part (11''') which runs from the deflection element (14) to the second stop point (13) on the supporting element. If required, the chain (11) can be released from the second stop point, and the two arms can be secured relative to one another so that, in the state in which they are locked to one another, they move together or move uniformly relative to the supporting element (5) without impeding the chain. <IMAGE> |
