PURPOSE:To realize a signal transmitting system with high reliability, by applying a serial transmission system for transfer of data between an input device and a processor, connecting these device and processor with the minimum number of circuits and using at least one of these circuits for transmission of signals. CONSTITUTION:A serial transmission system uses four pieces of wiring. Two pieces of the four wirings are allotted to a power supply, and the other two wirings are used exclusively for transmission/reception of signals between an input device and a processor. A shake-hand system is applied to prevent the collision in the serial transmission and to make clear the start side. The signal sent from an input device 3 is processed by a processor 1. The processor 1 contains a CRT12 and a flexible disk device 4, and cables 6, 7 and 8 are used to ensure connections among a main control circuit 5, the device 3, the CRT2 and the device 4. Then the data are transmitted among those parts for input, display and storage respectively. |
