The invention concerns a stop-piece 1 for the leaf of a shutter, window or French window. The stop-piece 1 can slide inside a fixed grooved stirrup 5. The latter is welded to the support 11 or to the metal frame of the window. After adjustment, the stop-piece 1 is immobilised by the grooves and a locking screw.
