PURPOSE:To remove efficiently org. materials and heavy metals by subjecting treated water of org. waste liquid contg. heavy metals subjected to a pretreatment by rotary discs to a settling treatment in a settling tank and removing the liquid in the lower layer then subjecting the liquid in the upper layer to an activated sludge treatment. CONSTITUTION:Inflow water 1 consisting of org. waste liquid contg. heavy metals is conducted into a rotary disc tank 2 where the water is subjected to a pretreatment by rotary discs. The treated water 3 from the tank 2 is conducted into an intermediate settling tank 4 where the water is subjected to a settling treatment. The settled liquid in the lower layer is removed in said tank and the treated water is supplied as inflow water 8 into an activated sludge treating tank 9. The water 8 is introduced together with return sludge 10 into the tank 9 where the water is subjected to an activated sludge treatment. The treated water 11 is conducted to a final settling tank 12 where the water is separated to final treated water 13 and settled sludge. Excess sludge 14 is removed to the outside of the system. |
