PURPOSE:To decide an accurate rewounded amount in comparison with the measurement of time using a timer means by using a detection signal corresponding to the revolving speed or the revolving position of a capstan motor to decide the desired rewinding amount of a video tape in an editing mode. CONSTITUTION:When an editing pause button 73 is pressed in a video record mode, a driving signal RD and a revolving direction switching signal F/R are applied to a reel motor driving circuit 74 from a system control part 49. Thus a reel motor 75 is revolved in the adverse direction, and at the same time a capstan motor 5 is also controlled in the reverse direction to start rewind of a video tape 4. Furthermore a video record mode is switched to a reproduction mode based on a command of the part 49. At the same time, the signal supplied to an editing control part 46 is set at H. Thus an editing counter is reset at the part 46, and the capstan FG dividing signals are counted in a rewind mode. When the contents of the counter are counted up to ''50'', for example, the part 49 controls the circuit 74 and stops the revolutions of the motor 75. At the same time, the revolutions of the motor 5 are also stopped. |
